Interesting views but how many women out there are with men who don't
love them? Women tend to find reasons to stick it up with their
abusive spouses because naturally they are patient and they do not
want the world to point fingers at them and say you made the wrong
choice. If a man changes wives, who cares it's good for him but once a
woman decides to do that she gets suspicious stares, most people tend
to think she is gonna be a prostitute or somebody's smallhouse. They
stay hoping to salvage something out of the relationship, not
necessarily material but an emotional connection.
Sometimes we wait for a spouse to change but rarely do people change,
they can make a effort but when the spark is gone, it's gone. In a
way Betty is a victim in many ways so was Watson, sometimes people
tend to suffocate their children by demanding more and more. Can
parents out there learn to let go? Watson never got an opportunity to
love Betty without other people sniffing around and snidding. Betty
knew that there was no love lost she was desperate and her background
